Does SaidToPaid decide what work my customer needs?

No. SaidToPaid organises what you say into structured paperwork. Diagnosis, recommendations, prices and VAT treatment remain your decisions.

Can an estimate or invoice be sent without me seeing it?

No. Every customer-facing document requires business approval before it is sent.

What if the recording is unclear?

If an important detail such as a price, labour rate or customer is missing, you are asked to confirm it rather than the system guessing.

Whose branding do customers see?

Your own. Estimates, invoices and messages use your trading name, logo and contact details, not SaidToPaid's.

How is VAT calculated?

VAT, totals, invoice numbers and due dates follow your business settings. You are responsible for checking they are right before approval.

Can my staff use it without being able to send invoices?

Yes. Owner, Manager, Admin, Book Keeper and Staff roles control who can create, edit, approve, send and change billing.

Is my customer data private to my business?

Yes. Each business has its own records, and access is restricted to the users you invite.

Do you gate reviews so only happy customers are asked?

No. Review gating is not supported. Every genuine completed customer receives the same honest request.

Is this an accounting or tax service?

No. SaidToPaid is administrative software. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

What do I get for free, and when is a card needed?

You can open a free account with no card. It includes 5 real documents in total (estimates or invoices, not per month), and you can send them to real customers. You only add a card if you choose Solo or Pro.

Which reminders are included, and on which plan?

Solo includes Google review requests and service or renewal reminders. Pro adds automatic email payment chasing, customer follow-ups and text reminders (beta). WhatsApp reminders are coming soon. You can try everything on your 5 free documents.

When does billing start?

Only when you choose a plan. The free account never charges you. When you pick Solo or Pro, the first monthly payment is taken that day, plus VAT, and you can cancel online at any time.

Do the prices include VAT?

No. Founding Solo is £10 + VAT (£12 in total) and founding Pro is £20 + VAT (£24 in total). Standard prices are £19 and £39 + VAT.

What counts towards my monthly document allowance?

Each estimate or invoice you create. Re-recording, rebuilding and editing a draft are free — the count only moves when a document is actually created. Solo includes 100 a month and resets each billing month; Pro is unlimited.

Can I cancel online?

Yes. Paid plans can be cancelled from your account without needing to telephone or email.
